Weeding out inequality

It occurred to me whilst I was weeding that in order to proceed

We need to dig deep 

Uproot from the source

Don't let something negative which appears small to pass through our attention only to spread and grow tall

We must approach our mind this way

We must approach life this way

We must approach prejudice, corruption, inequality and complacency this way.

When we leave things unchecked in this way we burden others and our later selves with bigger problems than we started with.

We can plant and nurture so many positive things in life but if negativity has taken root slowly and surely those positive steps can be strangled, drained and consumed.

So before we make positive steps in our lives take time to make space for them by letting go of things, relationships and people that no longer serve your greater purpose.

Do not let hatred take root by standing by quietly whilst others sow seeds of prejudice with their words and actions.

Do not be fooled that because someone does not speak badly of others or does not strike out against them. Listen for the gaps, what is not being said? Who has not been represented?
